Settings Overview for Items > Add New Item
This is the settings overview for the GetPaid > Item > Add New Item.
Item Title
Just like posts, items need a title, and this should be the product or service name, for example.
Item Details
By default, you can only add the Item Price.
There are 2 extra options
-
Let customers name their price
By ticking the first checkbox, a new settings field will appear, allowing you to set a minimum price. On the front end, when buying the item, the buyer will see an input field to set their price instead of a fixed price. If a minimum price is set, the buyer will not be able to offer less than the minimum price. -
Charge customers a recurring amount for this item
By ticking the second checkbox, a new set of fields will appear, an input field and a select field next to the Item price field. The first input field is labeled "every," and the select field includes options such as Days, Weeks, Months, and Years. For example, if you set $10 every 1 month, the system will charge the buyer $10 per month.
Below we have other 3 fields.
- Maximum renewals.
In this input fields it can be set how many recurrences the payment will run for. If set to 0 it will continue to reoccur until canceled. If set to 3 it will only collect 3 payments. In the example above, it would charge the buyer $10 per months for 3 months. -
Free Trial.
The first input field is where you specify the number of days, weeks, months, or years the free trial will run. The select field is where you choose Days, Weeks, Months, or Years. For example, if you set it to 10 days, the system will not charge anything for the first 10 days.
Item Description
This is where you add the description of the item in the form of text.

The Featured Image of an Item is like any post-type Featured Image.
When added, a thumbnail of the featured image will appear in the checkout form.
